Minamas – Yayasan Sime Darby Undergraduate Scholarship Programme (Local)
This undergraduate scholarship offer is open to Public (external candidates)
Minimum Requirements
- Indonesian citizen
- Indeks Prestasi Kumulatif (IPK) = 3.00 (on scale 4.00).
- Currently enrolled in the recommended field of study stated below
- Candidates has finished at least 3 (three) semesters (proven by IPK result)
- Possess good personalities, in good health condition and free from any drug substances addiction
- Currently not receiving scholarships from any institution or willing to release it upon acceptance
- Non academic achievements (i.e. in sports, science, or others) and involvements in extra- curricular activities or other organizations is an added value.
- Willing to follow and obey to the whole process and procedure of the scholarship
Service Bond Period
- On completion of their studies, scholars will be required to serve Sime Darby Group of Companies for 2 to 4 years, depending on the duration and value of the award
Fields of Study
- Scholarship will be offered to individual pursuing the following fields of study:
- Business and Law: Accounting, Management, and Law
- Engineering and Technology: Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, and Industrial Engineering.
- Agriculture-related: Agricultural Study, Agriculture Engineering, Agribusiness, and Forestry.
- Science: Biology
Selected Indonesian Universities
The scholarship is open to Indonesia citizens looking to study at the following universities in Indonesia:
- Universitas Indonesia
- Universitas Gadjah Mada
- Institut Pertanian Bogor
- Institut Teknologi Bandung
- Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember
Value of Scholarship (Local)
- The scholarship covers the following:
- Full tuition and academic fees
- Monthly board and lodging Allowance
- Annual books / equipment allowance
- Thesis allowance
- Graduation fees
- One-off computer allowance
Recipients of scholarship will have the opportunity to undergo Scholars Development Programme and experience work exposure through internship within Sime Darby Group of Companies.
